About Mom Care Docs
Our goal is to provide comprehensive care throughout your pregnancy, attend your delivery at the hospital, and provide postpartum care (six weeks after delivery).
We provide prenatal care at our office in the Allin Clinic. We do the deliveries at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women (Royal Alexandra Hospital).
We accept self-referrals (you can call our clinic and make an appointment without a referral from another doctor) as well as referrals from physicians, clinics, Planned Parenthood and public health centres.
Our doctors take turns being on call during the week and on weekends. When you’re ready to deliver, the doctor who is on call that day will be the doctor who attends your delivery.
Mom Care Docs' physicians only provide pregnancy care so patients still need to have a family physician to manage other health concerns. Mom Care Docs is part of the Edmonton Oliver Primary Care Network, which can connect you to a family physician.
Please note that our physicians teach medical students (training to become doctors) and family medicine residents (doctors completing their practicum in family medicine). These medical students and residents (both men and women) are involved in your care at the clinic and at the hospital.
Languages spoken include English, French (On Parle Français) and Spanish (Se Habla Español).
